I'M GETTING GIDDY

I've got a huge few days of gluttonous sports coming up starting Sunday. That's the day I'll be going to the season opener Chargers game!! Field level. 40 yard line. Against the Cowgirls. Yeah, I know. My love for Texas reaches only up to the point of being a Cowboys fan. Thats where I draw the line. The Texans are OK, but I never really felt the bond there. To be perfectly honest, I'm ashamed to admit that the Dolphins are my team. I've really lost interest in NFL anyhow. College ball is where its at - Hook 'em Horns!! Its really the best - I don't care who y'are! At any rate, my buddy's girlfriend's mom is coming into town and needed a "date" for the game, so I was happy to oblige. I can drink beer and cheer any sporting event with the best of them.

Then......

On Monday the ASTROS come to town for a 3 game series!!! WAHHOOOOOOO!!!!! Yes, I'll be at every game, so don't bother me on those nights. They better come with their A -game though, because the Padres have been doing well again. I've never been to a game in an opposing stadium as the team I'm cheering for, so I'm a little anxious. I told all my friends that have expressed interest in coming with me that they should expect I'll be wild and loud, chearing for the 'Stros.

One man. 4 days of live pro sports...
